Ruby Dobbs

Ruby Bell Dobbs, age 90, of Marion, TX, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2012. She was born to Bryan and Viola (Karm) Jones on October 14, 1921 in Cuero, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, William Ray Dobbs. Ruby was extremely active with her church and taught Sunday school for many years. She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker taking great pride in caring for her beloved family. She is survived by her children, Judy Carol LeRibeus and her husband Jim of Marion, Richard Wayne Dobbs and his wife Diana of Allen and Cynthia Ray Baldiviez and her husband Sal of Dallas; her sister, Hazel Halk and her husband Harry of Victoria; sixteen grandchildren, David Hamilton and his wife Michele of Cibolo, Daniel Hamilton and his wife Monica of Boyd, Michael Hamilton of Austin, Andrew Wayne Dobbs of Austin, Lauren Chandler Dobbs of Kyle, Lacey Palmore and her husband Kacy of Seagoville, Charity Muse and her husband Nathan of Mesquite, Caleb Baldiviez and his wife Laura of Dallas, Penny Baldiviez of Mesquite, Adam Baldiviez and his wife Ally of Mesquite, Bonnie, Mindy, Benjamin and Matthew Baldiviez, all of Dallas, Wesley Montgomery of Allen and Tad Montgomery of Grapevine. Also surviving are 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Country Church in Marion at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Butch Ikels officiating. Interment will be on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Pastor Brett Edwards officiating.
