Rosalinda Shifflett

Rosalinda "Rose" Shifflett born on May 29, 1952, passed away on April 4, 2017, at the age of 64. Rose is preceded in death by her husband, Walter "Bubby" Clarence Shifflett and her parents, Meliton Sr. and Erlinda Posadas. She is survived by her children Tammi & Ron Parthemore, Mary & Tracy Sample and Darrell & April Shifflett; 9 grandchildren Brittany, Courtney, Kayla, Taylor, Jake, Victoria, Alexis, Todd and Kelsey. She is also survived by 9 brothers and sisters Marylou, Edgar, Edwin, Edna, Meliton Jr. (Jhun), Mila, Ferdinand, Daniel and Marlon. Born in the Philippines, Rose arrived in the USA in 1968. She lived in Maryland and worked for General Electric and LabCorp before retiring and moving to Cibolo, TX in 2006. Her retirement activities included cooking, baking, ceramics, arts & crafts and enthusiastically supporting the San Antonio Spurs. Rose's passion for her Family was second to none. All who were fortunate enough to meet Rose, enjoyed her radiant spirit and gracious smile. Rose would talk endlessly of how very proud she was of her children and especially her grandchildren. Rose exemplified the meaning of love, she was always available to family and friends when they needed her most. She was the comforting voice of reason for those who were unreasonable.
