Ronald Meek

Ronald (Ronnie) Lee Meek, 64 of Seguin, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 9, 2017. Ronnie was born on August 15, 1952 in Seguin to Johnny and Dorothy Krueger Meek. He married the love of his life, Patsy Real on August 26, 1972. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother (Mike), and son (Jaime). Ronnie is survived by his wife, Patsy; son Tommy (Sunny) grandchildren Macrae and Slayton. Other survivors are brother Larry (Becky) Meek, numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and many nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.

Ronnie joined the police force at the young age of 21 rising to the rank of Universal City Police Chief, retiring with 35+ years of service to the local community. Ronnie enjoyed playing in western bands. Before going into law enforcement, he was a welder and jeweler. The highlight of his life was his grandkids, plus he loved his farm.

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 13, 2017, 4:00pm-8:00pm at Schertz Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held Monday, August, 14, 2017, at 10:00am at Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Cemetery in St. Hedwig, Texas. Memorials may be made in Ronnie's name to UC Citizens Police Academy, 2150 Universal City Blvd, Universal City, TX 78148.
