Robert (Bob) Rich

Robert (Bob) Rich left this world on Sunday February 19, 2023. He was born in Fort Smith AR on July 24, 1954 to Joseph and Mary Rich and attended St. Mary’s in Barling AR with his sisters Mary and Jane and brother Joe. Bob later joined the Air Force where he served honorably for 23 years, a graduate of Texas Lutheran University, Bob resided in Converse TX for 40 years where he volunteered his time to activities in the city like Habitat for Humanity and various Parks initiatives. Bob was an active member of OLPH in Selma for the last 15 years. He leaves behind his loving wife Nancy Jenkins Rich, Daughter Shawn (Erick) Russell; Son Eric (Rachel) Rich; Grandchildren: Caitlin (Raul) Galindo, Dezeree Rich, Gavin Rich, and Braeden Russell. Great Grandchildren: Riley, Bailey-Anne, Raul, and Alexandria. Bob touched many lives and will be missed by his family and friends, all who will remember his moto: Life is Good.

Services: Viewing at Schertz Funeral Home from 5pm – 7 pm and Rosary 7 – 8 pm on Sunday, 3/19/2023. Funeral Mass Tuesday, 3/21/2023 at 11 am at OLPH. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to: American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, or American Diabetes Association.
