ROBERT MARTE ROTH (USAF, Major, Retired)

December 19, 1940 - November 1, 2016

Robert M. Roth, born in Chicago, IL on December 19, 1940, passed peacefully in his sleep on November 1, 2016, inside his Houston home. Marte served honorably in the USAF for 20 years, attached to Air Force Auditor General, followed by 15 years with the Air Force Services Agency as a civilian. Marte is preceded in death by his parents, Albert M. and Mary Ethel Roth. Marte is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Patricia (Pat) Shaw Roth, their son, James and his wife Melissa; her daughters, Danielle Mullen and Sarah Johnson; their son Randall and his wife Alissa; their children, Skylar, Asher and Karys; and brother, Raymond Roth, whom still resides in Plymouth, Indiana. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on November 10, 2016, at 11:00 AM, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 16075 N. Evans Road, Selma, Texas. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Building Fund or a charity of personal choice.
