Obituary
Robert Andrew Kaeller passed away July 18, 2021 at the age of 83 in San Antonio, TX. Born to George and Evelyn Kaeller in Rutland, Vermont in 1938, Robert is preceded by his brother Richard Kaeller. Finishing high school in Rutland in 1956, Robert began serving our country in the Air Force for over 20 years, which led to him to multiple tours throughout Southeast Asia including Vietnam. Robert retired and moved to Schertz, Texas in 1980 from continuous persistence from his dear friend George Cloutier whom he met in Japan. Robert continued to serve his country by working in Civil Service for another 20 years. Although not native to Texas, Robert has lived in Schertz for over 40 years. During that time Robert met Eloise, which he married and gained a second family.
Robert is survived by his wife Eloise (Lori), daughter Terri Hardy and her husband Rick Hardy from Valdosta, Georgia, his son Paul Kaeller and his wife Lisa Kaeller from Uxbridge, Massachusetts, Robbi Arreola and Tabitha Arreola from San Antonio, Texas, and Joe Kaeller and his wife Yvette Kaeller from Temecula, California. In addition to his children, Robert is survived by his 10 grandchildren: Ricki Hardy, Harrison Kaeller, Scott Kaeller, Kaira Arreola, Matthew Hardy, Ben Kaeller, Ethan Arreola, Jaxon Kaeller, Chloe Kaeller and Anthony Arreola; and numerous nieces and nephews. Robert was an avid New England sports fan who loved his Bruins, Patriots, Celtics and of course his beloved Red Sox. Robert also loved animals and was known especially as cat lover.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel.
