Robert Higgins Iii

March 22, 1949 — April 14, 2019

MSGT Robert Frank Higgins III USAF (Ret) born on March 22, 1949, passed away on April 14, 2019 at the age of 70. Robert proudly served in the USAF for 21 years as a nurse. After retirement he went on to work as a nurse in many of the surrounding San Antonio hospitals and became an avid coin collector.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mildred Higgins; brother, George Higgins. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Connie Higgins; children, James Higgins, Robert Higgins IV, Brandon Wall and wife Amy White-Wall, Johna Webb and husband Michael; grandchildren, Chase White, Ciara White, Cage Wall, Caely Wall, Danielle Peterson, Bridgette Rodriguez, Aaron Lewis and Tyler Lewis; ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Carol Wagstaff and husband Butch, Patricia Heckel and husband Steve; brother, Gerald Higgins and wife Lisa; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 2:30PM
