Robert English

Robert Forrest English was born on October 14, 1933. He passed from this life and into heaven on November 7, 2013. His final days were spent caring for his beloved wife, Millie. Bob was born in Sweetwater, Texas, and grew up on a dairy farm. After serving in the US Army, he went to college at Sam Houston State University and received a bachelors of science in physics. Soon after, he worked at General Electric and then Honeywell. He retired as regional manager of Honeywell Federal Systems in San Antonio. Bob was a prolific reader, had a keen interest in finance, and was also quite a pool shark . (Rumor has it that he survived college with money he made playing pool.) He married Mildred Elaine Moore in the fall of 1963. They recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Bob was a devoted family man and always made certain his children were provided with every possible opportunity to excel in life. Bob is survived by his wife, Millie, and two daughters: Kim English and Michelle Nhuch. He also is survived by three grandsons: Eli Schroeder, Ben Schroeder, and Kian Nhuch. His funeral service will be held on November 20, 2013, at 10 AM, at Schertz Funeral Home, 2217 FM 3009, Schertz, Texas.
