Robert E. King, age 62 of Schertz, went to be with his Lord on February 6, 2010. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Joan King of Schertz; daughter, Kayla King of Schertz; sons, Christopher King of San Antonio, Keaton King of Schertz; Edward Rosefield King & wife, Ahna, of Surprise, AZ; David Pool King & wife, Darla, of Missouri and Robert E. Pool King & wife, Kristie, of California; mother, Paula Waer of Sonora, CA; brother, James Waer & Partner Beau, of Sonora, CA; sister, Laura Bougher & husband, Steve, of CA; in-laws, Joan & husband, Luke Mayfield, of Canyon Lake, Jack Webb & wife, Claire, of Cedar Run, New Jersey; sister-in-law, Beverly & husband, John Garcia, of Canyon Lake; brother-in-laws, Alan Webb of Ohio, Mike & wife, Mary Webb, of New Braunfels; nieces, Julie, Rebecca, Dana, Cierra, Emily, Nicole, Katie, Chelsea; grandchildren, Nathan, Lucas, Clayton, Kylee Jo, Roman; along with numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Al King and step-father, Harry Waer. Robert was a well respected automobile salesman in the San Antonio area for numerous years. A visitation will be held with the family receiving friends from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Schertz Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to assist the family.
