Robert Dowsland

June 30, 1955 — November 17, 2018

Robert "Bob" Wayne Dowsland, age 63, passed away on November 17, 2018 in Schertz, TX. He was born to David and Joan Dowsland on June 30, 1955 in Kingston, NY. Bob was a loyal company man for over 45 years in the automotive industry, working for more than 15 years with Cavender Buick GMC North. He also worked many years for Gunn Oldsmobile, and received Employee of the Year for 8 consecutive years. He took great pride working as a mechanic and service advisor, and he truly loved serving his customers.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Lea Dowsland; son, Kristopher Dowsland; daughters, Nicole Sanford and Alexis Dowsland; brothers, David Dowsland & wife Debbie, Fred Dowsland and Art Dowsland; grandchildren, Destiny, Arissa, Ian, Emilea, Makayla and Joely; nieces, Kimberly and Laura; nephews, David and Devon; as well as other family members and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:30PM on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Castle Hills Church, 2220 NW Military Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78213.
