Robert Davidson

Captain Robert Edward Davidson II (BOB) 74 of San Antonio, TX transitioned on 16 March 2022 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Capt. Davidson was born on 12 June 1947 in Buffalo, New York, to Robert Edward Davidson I and Josephine Whiteside Davidson. After High School Robert enlisted in the United States Air Force and served in Vietnam. He attended the University of Nebraska where he earned a Bachelors in Criminal Justice after which he attended Officer Training School and earnd his Commission as a 2nd Lt and served as an Executive Officer. Following Retirement he worked for General Dynamics in Abilene for Several Years before Joining SinoSwearingen in San Antonio until leaving to be with his wife, Polly, and to be the "World's Greatest PoP Pop" to his Grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 39 Years, Polly Evans Davidson of San Antonio; three sons, Robert Edward Davidson III and his wife Lisa Duffy Davidson of Tuscola, TX, Randy Erle Davidson of San Antonio and Christoper Evan Davidson and his Wife Holly; one brother Jon A Davidson of Orlando Florida; and four Grandchildren, Devon M Davidson, Rylee Jo Davidson, Kaelyn E Davidson and Leighton Davidson. A Funeral Service with military honors, will be held on 25 April at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.
