Robert Coldren

Robert Alan Coldren went to be with his oldest son Ryan on Sunday, July 4, 2021, at the age of 41. Robert was born in Seguin, Texas but currently lived in Schertz, Texas. His parents are Gary and Kerry Coldren. He graduated from Samuel Clemens High School in 1998. Robert later joined the United States Army in 1998 where he served in a Field Artillery unit as a Cannon Crew member. He enjoyed Texas Longhorn sports and was an avid San Antonio Spurs fan. He was a true and proud Texan at heart. Robert was a very devoted and proud father of two wonderful boys. They were his greatest accomplishment. He had a heart of gold and a wonderful sense of humor. Robert  always made it a point to make people laugh. He cared deeply for his family and friends and would go out of his way to help them. Robert is survived by his youngest son, Joshua; parents, Gary and Kerry Coldren; brother, Ryan Darnell; sisters, Kim Burton and Tisha Horton; grandmother, Marty Foster; nephews, Michael Willms, Nathen Willms, Colin Horton, Brett Horton, Trey Burton, and Alec Horton; niece, Kamrien Willms; and his dog, Kilo.

The Funeral Service will be held at 6:00PM on Friday, July 09, 2021 at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be from 5:00PM - 6:00PM and 7:00PM - 8:00PM.
