Robert "Bob" Beggs passed away on November 20, 2019 at his home in Schertz, Texas. He retired after 33 years active duty as an historian in the U.S. Air Force; achieving the rank of Chief Master Sergeant.
His passions included golf, reading, and watching his favorite sports teams from his hometown of Boston. He was an avid fan of the Beatles and listened to their music wherever he went.
During his long Air Force career, Bob was stationed at numerous bases in the US and overseas; including Germany and the Philippines.
A Graveside Service, featuring full United States Air Force honors, will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, December 04, 2019 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
