Rhoda Allison

July 22, 1915 — September 1, 2010

Rhoda Coulson Allison was born to Arthur Coulson and Edith McPherson Coulson in Harper, Kansas on July 22, 1915. She passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Morningside Manor in San Antonio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother. She is survived by her husband, James L. Allison. She graduated from American University and married James Leroy Allison on March 4, 1962 in Washington D.C. She did volunteer work for 53 years for the American Red Cross in various capacities at the offices in Washington, D.C., Lackland, Fort Sam Houston and in Japan writing letters for the hospitalized soldiers to mail home. Memorial Services will be held at 1:00PM on Sunday, September 5, 2010 at Colonial Hills United Methodist Church, 5247 Vance Jackson in San Antonio.
