Rebecca Albert

Rebecca "Becky" Lyn Wehe Albert, 46, of Cibolo, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on December 22, after a courageous, four year battle with cancer. Becky was born in New Braunfels, Texas on April 27, 1968 to Tom and Rita (Preusser) Wehe. She graduated from Samuel Clemens High School in 1986. Becky married Stephen Lee Albert on May 9, 1987; this year they completed 27 years. Becky worked for Comal-Tex Insurance in New Braunfels, Texas for seven years. She also did in-home child care for ten years. Becky touched the lives of many children and families through her life. Becky enjoyed being with her family the most, spending time in Rockport, Texas, baking cookies, trying new recipes, collecting Coca Cola memorabilia, attending stock shows, and helping family and friends in any way she could. It brought her great joy to celebrate and organize parties for family milestones and holidays. Becky supported Guadalupe County 4-H and Samuel Clemens FFA programs. She was extremely proud of her daughter Bailey, and expressed this each time she spoke of her. Preceding her in death were, her mother, Rita Preusser Wehe; maternal grandparents, Guswin and Wreitha (Hurrell) Preusser; paternal grandmother, and Dorothy (Perrin) Wehe. Becky is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Stephen Albert; daughter, Bailey Lyn Albert; father, Tom Wehe; sister, Brenda Aniol, and husband Mark Aniol; nephew, Anthony; in-laws, John Sr. and Bernice Albert; sisters-in-law Janet McKelvy and husband, Reggie, Susan Spain, and husband, Ronnie; brother-in-law, John Albert, Jr and wife, Pati; nieces and nephews, Dustin Olsen, Cody Olsen, Maegan Brewster and husband, Mark, Skyler Spain, Stacy Spain, Michael and wife, Teal, and Crystal; great nieces and nephews, Peyton, Brennan, Jaxson Brewster, Nevaeh, Jazzlyn, and numerous friends and family. A Memorial Service celebrating Becky's life will be held January 3, 2015 @5:00 PM at St. John Lutheran Church Activity Center located at 606 S. Center Street, Marion, Texas.
