Raymond Nino
February 12, 1964 — June 25, 2015
Raymond R. Nino, born on February 12, 1964, in San Antonio, Texas, passed away on June 25, 2015, in Schertz, Texas, at the age of 51. Raymond worked for the Amazon Fulfillment Center in Schertz, Texas and was a strong supporter and Advocate for Autism Awareness. He was an avid football fanatic and his favorite college teams were the University of Oklahoma, OU SOONERS and the Texas Longhorns. His favorite NFL team was the Jacksonville Jaguars. He loved to collect vintage comic books, vintage G.I. Joe action figures, anything Star Wars, and Star Trek action figures from the original series. He loved collecting baseball cards and baseball memorabilia of any kind. He was a well-rounded type of person. Raymond had kids who were on the Autism Spectrum so he was always posting Autism Awareness messages on his Facebook page so that those who weren't personally affected with Autism could be more aware and tolerant when they came in contact with those who were. Raymond had a big heart. His biggest wish was that anyone and everyone who ever came in contact with a child or adult who was challenged in any way, would be kind, tolerant, and generous. He was also very protective of his children and family. He was someone who could talk to anybody; it didn't matter if he knew you for years or if he had just met you at the corner store, he considered everyone a friend. He will be greatly missed. Raymond is preceded in death by his father, Ramon A. Nino. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Mary B. Barron-Nino; sons, Lorenzo Giovanni Nino of Schertz TX, Deanno Antonio Nino of Schertz, Texas, and Raymond R.
