Raymond Jung, Jr.

Raymond James Jung, Jr., age 81, passed away on May 28, 2020 in Schertz, Texas. He was born to Raymond J. Sr. and Hilda (Warncke) Jung on November 27, 1938 in San Antonio, Texas. Growing up in San Antonio, Ray was a fantastic big brother to his little sister Carolyn. Ray loved to sing, fish, hunt, his beloved dogs, stray cats, and especially his family, friends and neighbors. He was married to his wife Fran for over 44 years, until her passing a short time ago. They were a loving and bonded couple, and would often hold hands, and would always kiss upon greeting one another.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Frances, and step-children Tanya Houran and Craig Houran. He is survived by his sister Carolyn Schoenemann, niece Tricia Bolton, good friends Roy and Lisa Tadeo, as well as many neighbors and friends from St. John Lutheran Church in Marion and The Legacy at Forest Ridge in Schertz, where he spent his later years.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at St. John Lutheran Church, 600 S. Center St., Marion, TX 78124.
