Ralph Schraub

Ralph L. Schraub was born on May 23, 1921 in Cibolo, TX and was called home to be with the Lord on October 8, 2017, at the age of 96. Ralph was a very loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Everyone who knew him could always expect a smile on his face, a story from memories passed, and an unconditional love he was sure to offer. Ralph was a diehard Yankee's fan, knowing stats from decades past to the present. He lived his life just as Yogi Berra said "it's not over till it's over".

Ralph was preceded in death by his wife Florence Schraub, parents, two brothers and a sister. He is survived by his three children: Jackie Hunter & husband Phil, Herb Schraub & wife Bonnie, and Mark Schraub; grandchildren: Mark Schraub Jr., Sarah DeLeon, Travis Hunter & wife Jennifer, Trisha Kusenberger & husband Glen, Addam Schraub, and Clay Schraub; great-grandchildren: Cassady, Cody, Brianna, Kailyn, Natalie, Melody, Shane, Waylon, Emelyn and Dillon. We are very grateful for the caring and loving hands of Laura DeLeon and Angie Johnson.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 5:00PM-9:00PM at Schertz Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 8:30AM at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel, with Ken Ratcliff officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
