Rachelle Gwen "Shellie" Pauley Larsen, born September 1, 1969, departed from this world on Saturday, August 6, 2016, in her home in Cibolo, Texas. She held numerous occupations including: U.S Postal Operations and Finance Clerk in support of Soldiers and families during Iraqi Freedom II, Provost Marshal Admin Clerk, and numerous retail positions to support her family over her lifetime. Rachelle was a wonderful homemaker. She loved to entertain guests by cooking spectacular family recipes even though she was a very finicky eater...most of the time. Some of Rachelle's accolades include numerous medical certifications and several awards from the Department of the Army for public service, achievement, and family readiness group support. Rachelle will be remembered for having a warm heart, a gentle touch, and generous spirit that touched numerous lives through many random acts of kindness. You are a shooting star that has passed through our lives. We basked in the warm glow from your generous spirit and now you are soaring back to your heavenly home. You leave this world with so much evidence of your abiding love; your husband, Jack; daughters, Kayla, Tristyn (Gabriel), and Cheyanne; granddaughters, Delila and Marilyn; parents, Richard and Connie; sisters, Roberta (George), and Lexi; brother, Burnis (Katie); sisters in law, Susan Beck (Buddy), Pamela Anderson and fiancé Marty Brooks, Angelique Carmello ( Nick); brother in law, J. R. Larsen and friend Laurie Petroff; nieces and nephews, Tasha (JC), Tiffany (Justin), Devan, Kylie, Brenna, Blair, Avery, Burnis, Tyler, Katelynn, Jasper, Hunter, Micah, Karl, Jessica, Corrine, Nicole, Juliana, Nathan, Cameron, Olivia; and numerous other family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Lelia B. Brown (Burnis). You embraced all of us; arms open wide, loving and caring so deeply. We send you on the journey with heavy hearts, but you are now in the circle of love from those who have gone before you. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 12, 2016, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Schertz Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016, at 2:00 PM, at Schertz Funeral Home.
