Priscilla A. Reed was born June 10, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois to Maxine Jacobs and James Holmes. Priscilla married her childhood friend, her husband Walter twenty six years ago. She graduated from Calumet High School in Chicago, Illinois. Priscilla was very active in the many churches that she attended in various cities throughout her life. Priscilla was a Sunday school teacher, an usher, outreach ministry member, a member of the praise dance team and she was a prayer warrior for many years. Priscilla was preceded in death by her infant son Randall Reed, mother, Maxine Jacobs, brother-in-law Albert Reed Jr., uncle, Lit Jackson, uncle Tommy Jackson. Priscilla leaves to cherish her memories; husband, Walter Reed, son: Walter Reed Jr., sister, Jacqueline (Gradie) Houze of San Marcos, Texas, sister, Francine of Chicago, Illinois, brother; Press Jacobs of Chicago, Illinois., father, James Holmes, California, father-in-law, Albert Reed (Ida) of Pontiac, Mi., brother-in-law, James Reed (Lisa) of Country Club Hill, sister-in-law, Sherlynn Smith of Cibolo, Texas and many nieces and nephew. A Visitation will be held Thursday, September 24,2015 at Schertz Funeral Home from 8:00am - 9:30am. Funeral Service will be Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Schertz Funeral Home Chapel at 9:30am. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
