Phyllis Marie Knight, 78, of Schertz, Texas, passed away from complications of pneumonia on Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Born on September 19, 1936 in Vernon, Indiana, she is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Carl V. Knight, Sr. of Schertz Texas, son, Carl V. Knight, Jr. of Seguin, Texas, and sister, Donna Egan of Bloomfield, Indiana. She is preceded in death by parents Fredrick H. and Eleanor (Corya) McCaulou and brother, Melvin H. "Mac" McCaulou. Family will receive friends Tuesday, May 5, 2015, from 4:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel, located at 2217 FM3009, Schertz, Texas. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
