Phyllis Joan Branscum, age 80 of Cibolo, passed away in Arizona on November 29, 2011. Phyllis was born to Emerson and Betty Harvey on January 5, 1931 in New Castle, Indiana. Phyllis is survived by her children, Leonard Branscum of Chattanooga, TN, Patricia Masi of Dallas, TX, Richard Branscum of Montgomery, AL and Douglas Branscum of Ventura, LA; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Schertz Funeral Home, 2217 FM 3009, Schertz, Texas 78154. Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, December 9, 2011 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Procession will occur from the Funeral Home to the Cemetery.
