Peter Mckeown

February 6, 1969 — April 11, 2012

On April 11, 2012 Peter James Mckeown passed away from this life into the next and into the arms of his Heavenly Father. He was born on February 6th 1969 in Larne, Northern Ireland. Peter is survived by his devoted and forever loving wife Tammy and precious children Lauren, Ella and Aidan. Peter's parents Maureen and James Mckeown of Canada, brother Gary (Eva) Mckeown of Sweden and their children Oliver and Stella, sister Pauline (Manfred) Klassen of Paraguay and their children Kiara and Katya. Love for Peter was global and his family stretched around the world, with numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins. Throughout Peters 19 year career as a flight nurse and emergency nurse, Peter touched the lives of everyone he helped and worked with. He was a leader, a teacher and a compassionate caregiver. Peter was dearly loved by his In-Laws, (whom he loved equally in return) and many friends who have been a tremendous support to myself and our children during this tragic time. The loss of him is still unimaginable in my heart.
