It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Peggy Sells, who passed away on July 1st at the age of 86.
Born on March 3, 1938, in Park Hill Oklahoma. She was a dedicated and loving wife to her husband Ervin J Sells, they would have been married 69 years this August. She was a devoted mother to her five children, Ervin R Sells, James (Mitch) Sells, Leah Sells, Chris Sells and Sheila Whiteman. She had 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Peggy lived a fulfilling life and was a woman of many talents. She had a passion for cooking and baking, and her homemade dishes were always the highlight of family gatherings.
Peggy loved going fishing, she enjoyed sewing, crocheting and quilting. She had a love for all animals big and small. She made sure the deer and their fawns had feed to eat and fresh water everyday. Hummingbird feeders always fresh and the old stray cats were fed daily. She also enjoyed bird watching and knew most every species in south Texas.
She had a green thumb and loved tending to her garden, which was always flourishing in the summer. From fresh tomatoes, okra and cucumbers to green beans, peppers and onions. We couldn’t get enough of her fresh veggies every summer.
She will be greatly missed by all.
