Peggy Lois Chesser born on November 10, 1938 in Uvalde, Texas passed away on November 7, 2013 at the age of 74. Peggy was a former long term resident of Alice, Texas. During her residence in Alice, Peggy worked as a beauty operator. She was also a beloved homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a friend to all she met. Known for her positive outlook on life, Peggy was truly an inspiration to those close to her as well as anyone she met. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Marley, Sr., husband, Manuel Chesser and Son, Darrell "John" Marley. Peggy is survived by her son, Jesse "Babe" Marley, Jr. of Alice, TX, daughters, Cheryl "Sissie" Huber (Tim) of Cibolo, TX and Dawn Marley (David Burks) of LaGarto, TX. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. The family of Mrs. Chesser would like to thank everyone for their support, thoughts and prayers. Funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Schertz Funeral Home and interment followed at Kenedy Cemetery in Kenedy, Texas.
