Paulita Piech

Paulita (Paula) Perez Piech, 73 wife of the late Retired Air Force Master Sergeant Thomas George Piech passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at home after a hard fought battle with renal disease.

Paula was born on June 25, 1945 in New Braunfels, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Anselmo Perez Jr. and Tiodora Villanueva.

As a military wife she fulfilled her dream to leave New Braunfels and see the world. Paula was very high spirited, selfless, funny, loving and never gave up on anyone. She would go above and beyond to help anyone in need. She never missed an opportunity to listen to live music, watch a parade or spend time with her family. The love of her family was the most important part of her life.

She is survived by daughter Anna and her wife Carol of Indiana; son Jay and his wife Lori; Michael and his wife Sandra including several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sisters: Corina and late husband William Musser; Jaunita and husband James Matta; Maria and husband Esteban Cordova. Brothers: the late Anselmo Perez III and wife Louella; the late Francisco Perez and wife Minerva; Guadalupe Perez and Carols Perez. Along with several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will take place at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on January 11, 2019 at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation; The American Diabetes Association or the Wounded Warrior Project.
