Pauline Smith

Pauline Ione Smith, 87, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 9, 2014. Pauline was born in Harlem, New York on December 27, 1926 to Harry and Matilda Smith. She grew up in New York, attended and graduated from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Pauline Smith eventually found her way to San Antonio, Texas, where she was a dedicated and loyal employee of WEST for over 20 years, she was affectionately known as "Mom". Pauline will be missed at St. Pius X church where she was a faithful and active member until her health declined. Pauline Smith is preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Ralph Smith. She leaves to cherish her memory four children, Sandra Forbes, of Queens, NY; Keith Elliott (Cheryl), of Burbank, CA; Dennis Elliott (Suk), of Schertz, TX: and Joscelyn Elliott (Veraline), of Orlando, FL. Pauline also leaves six grandchildren; Stacey Forbes, Janai Davis, Lanita Clark, Paul Elliott, Austin Pope, and Reon Nichols. Her family tree also extends to six great-grandchildren: Jabari Davis, Robert May, Sanyi Elliott, Aliyah Clark and Elijah Clark, Skye May. Pauline Smith leaves a host of other relatives and devoted friends who will miss her smile and humble spirit.
