Paul Lacombe

November 7, 1926 — March 15, 2013

Deacon Paul Bert LaCombe, CMSgt USAF Retired, born November 7, 1926 in Ft. Worth, TX, passed from this life into the eternal loving grace of the merciful Lord God Almighty on March 15, 2013 in San Antonio, TX at the age of 86. He is the son of Benedict Albert LaCombe and Ottye Penny Oakerson and is survived by his sister Miriam Mae Cossich of Louisiana. Paul and his precious & loving wife Rita had eight children together; Lauren Sturm of Falls City, Paul of Windcrest, Joseph of Weatherford, Patrick of Canyon Lake, Mark of Universal City, Tim of San Antonio, along with Linda Lou and Samuel Thomas who have passed before him. Paul & Rita enjoy the love and affection of their 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. The LaCombe Family requests for who wish to honor him, those who loved, admired, and respected Paul, those who have been blessed by him, along with the numerous people that he helped in the community, to please make a meaningful contribution to the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in lieu of sending flowers. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2013 10:00am - 12:00noon, at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church 1065 E. Live Oak Rd., Schertz TX 78154, with a funeral service to be conducted at 12:00noon, followed by a gathering at the Knights of Columbus hall.
