Paul G. Grossweiler, 23, of Nashua, NH, passed away on July 1, 2023, in Sarasota, FL. He was born on February 4, 2000, in Nashua, NH. Paul was an athletic and outgoing individual who loved a challenge. He was a compassionate, natural born leader, which showed itself most fully in the army.
Paul is survived by his mother, Mary Custer, father and stepmother, Matthew and Nancy Grossweiler, his siblings: Joshua Custer, Robert Frazier, Courtney Smallidge, Matthew A Grossweiler, Adrian and Alfred Grossweiler. Along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Paul attended West High in Manchester, NH. After high school he moved back to Texas to be near family. Soon afterwards he went on to serve his country in the Army becoming a Sergeant in the 2-30IN Wild Boars, 3rd Brigade 10th Mountain Division. His commander noted that Paul was a stand-up soldier volunteering for everything. He took responsibility of soldiers having difficulties, offering them a listening ear, wisdom, and strength.
Paul enjoyed various hobbies. He was passionate about football, basketball and weightlifting. He enjoyed gaming, spending time with his family, hanging out with his friends and watching movies.
Funeral Service will be held July 21, 12 pm at Schertz Funeral Home, located at 2217 Fm 3009, Schertz, TX 78154. A burial service will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Paul will be remembered for his dedication, bravery, and his love for life and family. He will be deeply missed.
