Patty Jacobs
April 23, 1942 — June 22, 2009
Patty Lee Jacobs moved on to be with our Lord on June 22, 2009 in Cibolo, Texas after a long battle with Cancer. She passed at her home surrounded by her loving husband and children. Patty was born to Freeman and Erla Waldemar on April 23, 1942 in Albert Lea, Minnesota. She married Ralph W. Jacobs of Charles City, Iowa on August 3, 1967. They made their home in Lompoc, California for 38 years, all the while touching many people and her community while active with the Lompoc Unified School District, The American Legion, Lompoc Flower Festival Organization, Little League Sports with her children. Patty also worked as a food server and bartender. Once stricken with her illness, she and her husband moved to Cibolo, Texas in 2005. Her husband, Ralph W. Jacobs. with whom she shared 42 wonderful years together, survives Patty. She is also survived by two sons, Timothy Jacobs & wife, Jutta and Shawn Jacobs, all of Schertz, Texas; daughter, Kamala Cervantes & husband, Isidro most recently of Cibolo, Texas. She also leaves us with six wonderful grandchildren. Patty loved camping, music, playing poker, dancing, flowers & gardening, feeding birds, other wildlife and loving her own pets. As a true organizer, Patty was able to recently visit with friends and family at her home on May 30, 2009 where she requested to host a living wake . She was a believer in the now not the later and wanted to visit with loved ones while she was able. A family only viewing was held at the Schertz Funeral Home on June 23, 2009.
