Patricia Peek

Patricia Ann Tanner Peek, age 68, of Schertz, TX passed away on Saturday, November 24th. She was preceded in death by her parents, James W. Tanner, Jr. and Gertrude Tanner. She is survived by her twin daughters: Peggy Ann Peek and Penny Ann Davis (husband, Mike) son, David Eugene Peek (wife, Kristy) and their father, Dr. Darwin E. Peek; loved as Mam-ma to seven grandchildren, Katie Davis, Nathaniel Peek, Jackson Clinesmith, Samuel Peek, Hettie Peek, Katie-Beth Peek, and Daniel Peek; and Aunt Pat to numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Pat has lived in Schertz for her whole adult life. She worked at Randolph Air Force Base for the past 30 years as a civil servant in the Retiree/Benefits Department where she was Chief of Retiree Services, Air Force Personnel Center. Before that she was a wonderful, devoted mother, wife, and homemaker. Pat was also a substitute teacher for SCUCISD, active in BVYA, and SCHS Band Booster. Our mother taught us how to share, take turns, speak our minds (with respect), how to make good choices, and pray. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be Friday, November 30th from 6:00-8:00pm at Schertz Funeral Home, 2217 FM 3009, Schertz, TX. Funeral Services will be Saturday afternoon, December 1st at 2:00pm at First Baptist Church Schertz, 600 Aero Avenue, Schertz, TX.
