Patricia Ann Molter Neuman passed away peacefully at the age of 55 on January 25, 2022 in Schertz, Texas after a courageous fight with cancer.
She was born in San Antonio, Texas to Frederick and Margaret Molter on April 30, 1966. Patricia loved caring for children – as a young adult she worked for Our Lady of Perpetual Help’s school in the Childhood Development Center. She married Vincent (Rocky) Neuman in 1991 and moved to Fort Worth, Texas. She fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming a mother in 1995 with the birth of their first son, Jacob. In Fort Worth, she ran a successful daycare out of her home and welcomed her daughter, Abigail in 1999, and son, Benjamin in 2001, into her family. After returning to San Antonio, Patricia had her fourth child, Noah in 2005 and provided evening childcare at her church. In 2011, Asher, her fifth child was born.
Patricia loved being active with her family – they were frequently hiking, camping, or traveling to the beach in their free time. Patricia enjoyed bringing friends together, cultivating her creativity, and sharing in laughter. Supporting her kids in their extracurriculars, leading them in their homeschool studies, and guiding them in their faith brought Patricia great joy.
Patricia’s heart for children continued when she began working at Founder’s Classical Academy in 2016. Throughout this time, Patricia resumed her college studies in Early Childhood Development and had nearly completed her degree when she was diagnosed with kidney cancer in January 2021. Patricia will be remembered by her true selflessness and joyful faith in God.
Patricia is survived by her mother, Margaret (Peggy) Molter, her siblings, Jeanette Kirby and husband, Carl, Michael Molter and wife, Liffin, and Paul Molter and wife, Susy, as well as her children, Jacob, Abigail, Benjamin, Noah, and Asher. She is predeceased by her father, Frederick Molter and her Godfather, Donald Molter.
The funeral will be held February 7, 2022 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Selma, Texas. The visitation will begin at 9:45, followed by a Rosary at 10:30 and Funeral at 11:00. Burial will take place immediately afterwards at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery with reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to https://www.kidneycancer.org/ in Patricia’s name.
