Patricia Meadows
December 24, 1945 — December 13, 2012
Patricia "Pat" Ann Meadows was born on December 24, 1945 to the late Ruth Crawford Anderson in Miami,Florida. She was raised by the late Emory and Ara Wilcox. When she was nineteen, she married Theodore Meadows Sr. and had her first daughter Anzjonna, passing up a job with the FBI. She moved with her oldest daughter to Cape Canaveral, known now as Kennedy Space Center. Since Theodore was in the Air Force, she also traveled with him to Grand Forks, North Dakota where she gave birth to her second child Theodore Jr. She then traveled to Fort Worth, Texas; Madrid, Spain; and on to Victorville, California where she gave birth to her last child, Cheradi. After leaving California Pat moved to Live Oak, San Antonio and Converse, Texas where she lived with her youngest daughter. Patricia has been a loving housewife and an amazing Mom. She started a record store business with her husband in California. When she moved to Texas, she helped build the Wal-Mart store #765 where she has worked for the past 28 years. In her home going, she leaves behind her three children: Anzjonna Meadows, Theodore Meadows Jr. and Cheradi Meadows, sister; Virginia Hawkins and four grandchildren; Nakeyya, Najah, Kayla and DeMarco along with many other relatives, co-workers and friends. Patricia will be dearly missed and cherished in our hearts forever. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 9:00am with the funeral service beginning at 10:00am at the Resurrection Baptist Church on Live Oak Road in Schertz, Texas. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park, San Antonio, Texas.
