Patricia Ann Hanshew

Patricia “Pat” Ann Hanshew, 81 , of Schertz, Texas, passed from this life on Monday, July 15, 2024. Pat was born Feb. 24, 1943 in McLeansboro, IL, to parents Guy and Marie Mann. She grew up in New Buffalo, MI. She and her husband, Buck, resided in Wichita Falls, TX for over 30 years. 

Pat worked for years with Employer’s Insurance and retired from Cingular Wireless. She had a strong passion for the armed forces and was active in the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Wichita Falls, TX. Pat loved to travel and spending time with family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Marie Mann, and husband, Edward “Buck” Hanshew. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Robert Liley and wife, Susan Liley, brothers, William “Bill” Mann, Guy “Eddie” Mann, and Jimmy Mann, grandsons, Andrew Liley and Dwain Hanshew, granddaughters, Danielle Strong, Natalie Oulay, Angela Kohler, and great grandchildren, Jayden Liley, Auriana Liley, Malaya Branch, Earskie Strong, Jr., Brooklynn Strong, Wyatt Liley, Gage Koehler, and Lily Koehler. 

In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials may be made to the Hospice Foundation of America.
