Patricia Finley

Patricia Marie Finley, 70, left this world on October 5, 2021, with her family by her side in San Antonio, Texas.

Patricia was born on June 8, 1951, in Bridgeport, Ohio to Robert and Glenna Harmon. Her father was a traveling salesman and her mother was a homemaker. They eventually moved the family to Texas where they moved every few years back and forth from Houston to San Antonio.

She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Houston, Texas in 1969 and eventually moved back to San Antonio. She married her best friend and love of her life, Edward Finley, on June 1, 1985, and later that summer in August of 1985, she graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a bachelor’s degree in education. Together, they began their life, he was a beginning computer programmer and she began her teaching career.  They also share one daughter, Morgan M. Finley Winscott.

Her interests included family, swimming, reading, going to the beach and hill country, baking and cooking, listening to music, and watching old movies.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Edward Finley; daughter, Morgan M. Finley Winscott and spouse Jeffrey Winscott, Jr; 2 grandsons, Nathan and Parker Winscott; sister, Sedara Clark and spouse David Clark; nephew David Savage. She is received into Heaven by her parents, Robert and Glenna Harmon, her grandparents, numerous aunts and uncles, and several beloved pets.

The Funeral Service will be held at 4:00PM, with visitation beginning at 3:00PM, on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Schertz Funeral Home Chapel.
