Patricia Braun

Patricia (Pat) Braun was born in Evanston, Illinois to Edward N. Person and Vera M. Burgess Person. She was married to her best friend, Edward, on June 16, 1945 and was happily married for 65 years. Together they had 4 children, 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. They loved to play golf, watch sports, and traveled to all 50 states and Europe.

A loving mother and homemaker, she always made sure there was good food and fellowship. Grandchildren always looked forward to Grandma's treats, which were readily available for their little hands. Pat had an unwavering love and devotion for her family. There was always a kind heart and gentle smile for all.

Pat was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward E. Braun and son, Paul E. Braun. She is survived by daughters, Nancy D. Braun with husband David F Smith, Susan J. Braun with husband Robert E. Strout and Linda L Braun;grandchildren, Pamela Smith Browning, Kristen Smith Vardy, Robert Strout Jr. and Cordae Strout Valenzuela; great grandchildren, Olivia Vardy, Isaac Vardy, Megan Strout, Ryan Strout, Amberly Valenzuela, Summerlyn Valenzuela , and Colton Valenzuela.

Family will receive guests on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at Schertz Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Schertz Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 9:30am with interment to follow at Taylor City Cemetery.
