Orpha Dewerff

Orpha "Elaine" Barham DeWerff, 93, passed from this earthly life into eternal life in San Antonio, Texas on June 27, 2018. Elaine was born in Corsicana, Texas on May 25, 1925 and lived an interesting and full life. She traveled around the world to many places including the Philippines, France and South Korea. After serving 30 years as a government court reporter, she owned a travel agency and enjoyed going on cruises and traveling the world. She had an infectious laugh and zest for life. Elaine was loved by all that knew her.

She is now in Heaven with her parents, Dr.Wendell S. Barham and Lona Wood Switzer Barham; brother, Dr. Richard W. Barham; husband of 25 years, Allen L. Andrews and husband of 16 years, Carl E. DeWerff. Elaine is loved and will be greatly missed by her loving daughter, Sandra Lynn Andrews; sons, Allen Wayne Andrews with wife Jackie, Bruce Stacy Andrews and Stephen Gary Andrews; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and sisters, Darlene Partlin and Nelda Ohrt.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Cornerstone Church at 11AM.
