Oaklee Rayne Winbush

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Oaklee Winbush, born on July 15, 2023, in Cibolo, Texas. Oaklee departed this world on September 22, 2023, leaving behind a profound sense of loss and heartbreak.
Oaklee was the beloved daughter of Ronnie Winbush and Emmalee Prince, who provided her with boundless love, care, and support throughout her brief but impactful life. Despite Oaklee's time being cut short, she was cherished deeply by her family, who now mourn the untimely departure of their cherished child.
During her short time with us, Oaklee touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her bright smile and need for snuggles brought joy and warmth to those around her. She exemplified innocence and pureness, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of her loved ones.
Though Oaklee's dreams and ambitions will forever be unrealized, her memory and the love she shared will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. They will forever carry the weight of her absence and the heaviness of the unfulfilled potential she possessed.
As we mourn the loss of Oaklee, let us remember the love, joy, and innocence she brought into the world. Let us be reminded of the preciousness of life and the importance of cherishing those we hold dear. May Oaklee find eternal peace, and may her family find solace in the cherished memories they shared with her.
Oaklee is survived by her mother Emmalee Prince and father Ronnie Winbush. Sister Braelynn Winbush. Great great grandparents Darlene and John Caldon Duhon, and Dorris Nelson. Great grandparents Margaret and Steve Vreeke, Chuck and Charlotte Prince, Pam Mallow and Mike Hagan, Mary and Don Meyer, Brad Mallow, and Tracie Duhon. Grandparents Tawni Nelson, Destiny and Brent Meyer, and Carl and Randee Prince. Countless Great Aunt’s and Uncle’s. Aunt’s Beaux Nelson, Destinee Lopez, and Rian Chamberlain. Uncle’s Cj and Cody Prince, Blake Santell, Richard Lopez, and Esteban Garcia. Cousin Bentlee Lopez. And many more close friends and extended family.

The family would like to thank Schertz Funeral Home and AnyBabyCan for all of their support through this tragedy. They would also like to thank all of the first responders and medical professionals who responded to their household that day and did everything they possibly could.

Services for Oaklee will take place on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Schertz Funeral Home, with a Visitation starting at 11:00 AM, and the Service beginning at 12:00 PM.
