Norman Julius Grohman, age 80 of San Antonio, passed away on August 2, 2010. He is survived by his son, Norman Philip Grohman & wife, Mamie; daughters, Brenda Joyce Ott & husband, James and Patricia Ann Swientek & husband, Terence; sisters, Eleanor Freeman & husband, Howard, Mary Goodrich & husband, David and Catherine Oakes; grandchildren, Brandi Grohman, Marcus Grohman, Michael Grohman, Christine Orbe & husband, Michael, Ryan Ott, Samantha Ott, Scott Swientek, Stephanie Swientek and great-grandchildren, Skyler Sloan and Octavian Orbe. A Rosary will be Recited at 7:00 PM on Sunday, August 8, 2010 at Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass will be Celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 9, 2010 at St. Gerard Catholic Church, where Norman was Baptized on March 9, 1930, 1523 Iowa Street, San Antonio, Texas, 78203. Interment will follow at 11:30 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Reception to follow at the Sam Houston Club at Fort Sam Houston from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
