Nola Schroeder Ristow Born April 28, 1921 in Schertz, Texas. Nola ended her journey of 92 years. Nola Schroeder Ristow is survived in love by her son and daughter-in-laws; Larry Ristow and wife, Jackie Snyder of Montell; and Glen Ristow and wife Shelly Harper of Schertz. Grandchildren Rey Anne Schmidt and husband Justin of Adkins; Nichole Kuhlmann and husband Loren of Universal City; Delton Ristow and wife Erika Cotter of San Antonio; Jason Ristow and wife Stephanie Langston of La Vernia; Jonathan Ristow of Universal City; Joseph Ristow of Universal City; and Dillon Ristow of Schertz. Great-grandchildren Trenten Schmidt, Shayna Schmidt, Lorenzo Ristow, Caleb Ristow, Mali Ristow, Madison Kuhlmann, Garrett Ristow and Hailey Cotter. Sister and brother-in-law Viola Dittfurth and Larry. Numerous nieces and nephews. Nola is preceded in death by her parents Rudolph and Meta Hillert Schroeder; her husband Gus Ristow; infant daughter Ilene; her oldest son Lt. Delton R. Ristow; and grand-daughter Chelsea Ristow. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2013 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Schertz Funeral Home. Funeral Service will take place at 10:30am, Friday, May 3, 2013 at Redeemer United Church with interment to follow at Redeemer United Cemetery.
