Nick R. Ramos Sr.

Nick R. Ramos, Sr., a dedicated public servant and community leader, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2024, at the age of 85 in Converse, TX. Born on December 1, 1938, in New York City, NY, Nick dedicated his life to serving others and making a positive impact on his community. 

After a distinguished career with the U.S. Coast Guard and New York Police Department, Nick continued to serve his community as a devoted Mason, Shriner, and church leader. His unwavering commitment to service spanned over six decades and touched the lives of countless individuals in New York, Tennessee, and Texas. 

Nick is survived by his loving children, and his cherished grandchildren, Alexander Paul and Lucy Elizabeth. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. 

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 28th at 5:00 pm at Schertz Funeral Home in Schertz, TX.
