Nicholas Allen Cook, born on November 6, 1990, in San Antonio, TX, passed away on October 6, 2014, in Schertz, TX, at the age of 23. Since he was little, Nicholas enjoyed playing and watching sports, his favorite teams being the Green Bay Packers, Oklahoma Sooners, and the San Antonio Spurs. His favorite things to do were gardening and fishing. His favorite flowers being the white and purple passion flower, cactus, and yellow roses. Coming from a large family, Nicholas surrounded himself with family, friends, and good BBQ. He was a good son and brother who was always there when you needed him. A contagious smile, a loving heart, and a presence that was always known. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Traci Cook of San Antonio, Texas; siblings, Bobby Cook, 33, of San Antonio, TX, Kelly Joubert, 30, of Greenville,S.C., William Callaway, 27, of Bergheim , TX , Crystal Munch, 26, of Austin, TX , Courtney Callaway, 26, of San Antonio, TX, Riley Callaway, 22, of San Antonio, TX, Andrew Wingo, 19, of San Antonio, TX, and Kristen Cook, 15, of Greenville, S.C. Also, six nieces and nephews, several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He also leaves behind mother, Jackie Smith; aunt, Kimberly JoJo Smith; uncle Ronnie Smith; cousin, Cassie, and many others in upstate New York. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at 10:00AM, at Schertz Funeral Home. All services will conclude in the chapel.
