Neva Farr

August 12, 1922 — March 9, 2009

Neva Jo Farr, a resident of San Antonio, passed away March 9, 2009. Jo Farr was born in Krum, Texas on August 12, 1922. She married James T. Farr while they were stationed in postwar Japan in 1947. Jo lived recently in Universal City, Texas and Tyler, Texas while raising three children. Jos remarkable life ranged from being raised on a poor Texas farm during the great depression to traveling the world as the wife of an Air Force Pilot. Her love of family, music, dancing and golf always sustained her throughout her life. Survivors include son, James F. Farr of Schertz, Texas and daughters, Becky Adams of Clovis, New Mexico and Jeanne Farr of Dallas, Texas. Jo Farr was also survived by her sister, Marjorie LePori and grandchildren, April Wareham, Mike Wareham, Danielle Adams, Michael Adams and James T. Farr II. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:15 AM Thursday, March 12, 2009 at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
