Nelly Jones

Nelly Jones, born on December 30, 1940 in Nimes, France, passed away on March 14, 2019 at the age of 78. Nelly was preceded in death by her husband Harold R. Jones. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Bagnetto and partner Thomas Anderson; grandchildren, Cynthia Troncoso and husband Stephen, Rachel Bagnetto and fiancé Sean; grandson, Clint Anderson; great-grandchildren, Carson, Gavin and Aria; brother, Harry Bennett and wife Carol; niece Becky Cortinas and husband Vic; nephew Bobby Bennett and wife Elyse. Nelly was a breast cancer survivor, she enjoyed photography and spent much of her time taking photos and making photo albums for the family. Nelly had a love for animals and donated to various charities. A Visitation will be held on Monday, March 25, 2019 from 8:00AM - 10:00AM with a Rosary to be recited at 9:30AM at Schertz Funeral Home Chapel with Interment to follow at 11:00AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donation be made to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society.
