Nathan Scott

June 25, 1966 — December 10, 2011

Nathan Joseph Scott was born to the late Ned Dillon and Mrs. Shirley Watson in New Orleans, Louisiana on June 25, 1966. There he lived most of his life and served his community as a police officer for the New Orleans Police Department for over 16 years. After Hurricane Katrina, Nathan and his family moved to San Antonio, Texas in 2005. Nathan continued to serve people as a Medical-Surgical Technician in Radiology at University Hospital. Nathan Scott is preceded in death by; his son, Brandon Antonio Scott, both parents, his grandparents , Nercilia Robertson, Refus Dillon, Josephine and Joseph Isabelle, and his sister Shelia Johnson. Nathan leaves to rejoice in his memories; his wife Alicia Scott, three stepchildren, Mahdi Gaines, Rodney Boisley, and JeaNe Gaines, two brothers, Sherman Scott (Carmen) and William Bee, Jr., three sisters Sharon Davis (Patrick), Tiara Dillon, and Latonya D. Loston, a stepmother, his mother-in-law and father-in-law, two daughter-in-laws, four step-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Nathan departed this life on December 10, 2011. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 17, 2011, at 9:00AM, at Schertz Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 10:00AM on Saturday, December 17, 2011, at Schertz Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at Selma Cemetery #2.
