Nancy Ruth Johnson born on February 16, 1934 in Robstown, TX, passed away on March 25, 2015 in San Antonio, TX. Nancy is preceded in death by her husband Edgar Earl Johnson, parents Elvin and Mattie Reeves, and brother Billy Reeves. She is survived by her son Alan W. Johnson and wife Lisa, sister Carol Maples and husband Charles; sister in law Tish Reeves, brother CW Reeves and wife Jean; grandson Luke, and also numerous nieces and nephews. Nancy was a graduate of Manor High School, she was a long time member of the Schertz United Methodist Church and a Hospice volunteer. A visitation will be held on Monday, March 30, 2015 at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the Schertz United Methodist Church, 11:00am, with the interment to be held at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to either Hospice, ALS Foundation, or the Methodist Children's home.
