Mirtha Wolfe

June 25, 1930 — April 26, 2017

Mirtha Felicia Ramos Wolfe, born June 25, 1930 in Aguilares, Texas and the fourteenth child of Baltazar Ramos Sr. and Pomposa Roach, passed away on April 26, 2017 at age 86.

Mirtha retired after 32½ years of Civil Service, working at Laredo Air Force Base, Reese Air Force Base in Lubbock, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio and Randolph Air Force Base, Universal City, Texas. She was a 26-year resident of Cibolo/Schertz, Texas and was an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church up to the time her health started failing. There were so many things that made Mirtha the unique and beautiful person that she was. Perhaps, the most important was the endless amount of love and devotion she gave to her family and friends. Her absence will be deeply felt, but the warmth of her spirit will be forever present in every heart she touched.

She is survived by her children: Sylvia Edwards of Austin, David Wolfe of Canyon Lake, Elizabeth Parmley of Houston, Rosslyn Blake and Priscilla Wolfe of San Antonio; grandchildren, Jay, Ray & Trey Baker, Valerie Walker, Annie & Katie Miller, Rita Olsen, Taylor Vollmer; great grandchildren, Avalon and Eden Baker, Kendall & Karynne Walker. She is also survived by her brother, Servando, along with many, many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Mirtha's life will be held on Monday, May 1 at 11:00 a.m., Valley View Seventh-day Adventist Church, 6630 FM 1516N, Converse; burial will follow at Zion Cemetery, FM 1102 and Chelsea Drive, Cibolo.
