Mildred Dixon

Mildred Dixon was born on February 28, 1929 to Silas and Minnie (McNeill) Phipps in Electra, Texas. She passed away on February 25, 2009 in Schertz, Texas at the age of 79. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sons, Mel Dixon & wife, Nora of Cibolo, Texas and Mike Dixon & wife, Betty of Houston, Texas; brothers, Carrol Phipps & wife, Kathryn of Abilene, Texas, Dean Phipps & wife, Wanda, Rondal Phipps & wife, Joyce and Calvin Phipps, all of Monahans, Texas; sister, Helen Stephens & husband, Eddy of Leakey, Texas; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2009 at 2:00 PM in the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
