Michael Webb

Michael Joseph Webb, born on November 22, 1940 in Centerville, Iowa, passed away on April 18, 2015 in Cibolo, Texas at the age of 74. Michael was raised in Putnam County, Missouri and was a Missouri resident until 1980. From there he moved to Kingsville, Texas where he lived for 34 years until 2014. He moved to Cibolo, Texas in late 2014 for health reasons. He had a degree in mechanical engineering and retired after 10 years at Bayer in Kansas City, Missouri and 20 years at Celanese in Bishop, Texas where he held the position of Corporate Staff Engineer. While he was in the engineering field he developed and held patents for several innovative tool designs. Michael was a youth soccer coach for many years and also enjoyed hot rod and classic car restoration. He was an avid trapshooter and life member of the Amateur Trapshooting Association. Michael is preceded in death by his parents Herbert L. and Cleo Lessy Webb and a brother James Lee Webb. He is survived boy his wife of 51 years, Carol Marie Webb, daughter Marcella Colleen Leung, sons Monty Joseph Webb and Matthew Michael Webb, and also 11 grandchildren. In honor of Michael Joseph Webb the family will be holding a Celebration of Life Service.
