Michael Sohn

January 23, 1942 — March 1, 2015

Michael Sohn was born January 23, 1942 in Bronx, NY. He passed away on March 1, 2015 in New Braunfels, Texas at the age of 73. He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter. Mike is survived by his loving wife Judy Sohn, one sister, one daughter, five step-children, and ten grandchildren. Mike was a native New Yorker and a devoted Marine. He always made sure to put others first, and was the life of the party with his quick wit, great jokes, and wonderful stories. Although he lived in Texas for the past 12 years, he never forgot his roots and made sure to cheer for the Yankees and the Giants every season. His family and friends will miss him greatly, but he will live on in our thoughts and prayers forever. A Graveside Service, with full military honors, will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas. A gathering will immediately follow at the Fort Sam Golf Club.
